Finished! (Well, almost!)

I've been working on a Diagonal/Corner Box Stitch afghan since July 13th and I finished it Monday!  Well, almost, all I have to do now is darn in those pesky freaking ends, wash it and dry and give it to my mother-in-law for her 69th birthday tomorrow!  :)

I just love how easily it went.  I already want to do another one!  I would be more selective with the colors, though, but this was stash Vanna yarn.

Cat in a Bag

I've been busy with work stuff the past two days, but I've made a little progress on my Box Stitch afghan.  Made it all the way to the corner on one side!  I'm going to make it a rectangle, and keep going down the left.

So far I'm doing great with this pattern, but I think a lot of it has to do with the Vanna White yarn I've been using.

Then last night I went to change colors and found a cat in my yarn tote!  She likes to curl up on top of my project bags, but this was one of the few times she's crawled in and made a bed!  LOL
